You will note that these 11 oz Standing Liberty Silver Statues have a particularly vintage aesthetic. This is due to the beautiful antique finish that has been applied across the entire three-dimensional surface. You will also find on the base of each statue a laser-etched serial number.

These Antique Finish Standing Liberty Silver Statues feature a scaled 3D version of Standing Liberty. In this design, Liberty is depicted in majestic robes facing right. In one hand she holds a shield and in the other an olive branch. You will also note that the base upon which she stands contains an inscription reading In God We Trust.

When the original Standing Liberty quarter on which this statue is based was released, the United States was in the midst of WWI. The design by Hermon Atkins MacNeil was directly influenced by this conflict. Initially, the design showed Liberty wielding both an olive branch and a sword. The overarching idea was that while America desires peace, she will engage in war if necessary. Ultimately, the design was rejected in favor of an image in which Liberty holds a shield and an olive branch. This sent a message that was more demonstrably in favor of the central goal, namely peace.
