The new Tudor Beasts Series from the Royal Mint started in 2022 with the proof release of the Seymour Panther. The series will feature some designs unique the Tudor Dynasty of the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries.
However, fans of the previous Queen’s Beasts Series will notice that there are some designs that return in the new Tudor Beasts Series. For example, the mighty Lion of England features in both collections, as well as the Yale of Beaufort. In the case of the Yale of Beaufort, the beast is the same, but the design is new.
