The reverse side of the SilverTowne Buffalo Silver Bar showcases a right-profile view of the American bison standing atop a mound. In addition to the bison, the reverse also includes inscriptions of the issuing country and the U.S. national motto, “In God We Trust.”

The reverse of Fraser’s design showcases Black Diamond, a massive American bison he studied at New York’s Central Park Zoo, though the artist also incorporated features from other bison he had observed. Standing on a raised mound, the buffalo presents an imposing figure that captures the raw power and untamed spirit of the American frontier.
