Each of the 1986-2023 American Silver Eagle 39-Coin Sets available here come to you with individual plastic slabs for each coin. The coins all have Mint State 69 certifications and boast full, original mint luster with no more than two minor detractions. The detracting flaws are limited to minuscule contact marks or hairlines found outside the primary focal points.
The American Silver Eagle originally featured a reverse design from John Mercanti that depicted the heraldic eagle, an iconic symbol of the republic. In mid-2021, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the series, a new depiction of the bald eagle from Emily Damstra.
On the obverse of each 1 oz Silver Eagle Coin in this 39-coin set, you will find a depiction of Walking Liberty. This design was created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and originally featured on the US Half Dollar through 1947.
The reverse side of the American Silver Eagle comes with an image of the American bald eagle. Coins in this set dated 1986 to mid-2021 feature the heraldic eagle, an emblem with the bald eagle supporting the US national shield. Coins issued from mid-2021 onward have the new depiction of a bald eagle in left-profile relief swooping into view with an oak branch in its talons.
